The author skillfully explores the psychological impact of memory and loss, questioning the ethical dilemmas surrounding the pursuit of happiness at the cost of painful memories. The vivid descriptions and well-crafted atmosphere create a haunting and immersive experience, making "Halcyon" a gripping page-turner. The story later takes the readers to 2030, what a exciting turn ! What will happen then ? Read this book to know the complete story.

The brevity of the poems works well, as each one encapsulates a distinct emotion or thought, making it easy to digest the poems individually or collectively.

The narrative takes readers across different locations, from exotic locales to gritty urban landscapes, enhancing the sense of adventure and providing a vivid backdrop for the events that unfold.

The supporting cast of characters is diverse and well-developed, each with their own motivations and secrets. Muambi's ability to create believable and multi-dimensional characters adds richness to the story, making it more than just a typical spy thriller.

One minor drawback of the novel is that at times the action sequences can become slightly overwhelming, with a lot happening in quick succession. However, this also serves to heighten the sense of urgency and keeps readers engaged.

It’s a web of characters whose lives are interconnected but follows different paths.  It’s a very intense read that I won’t recommend to the children, it’s specifically an adult read.
