 Title: Rock Solid- 4

Author: M.J. Roberts

Genre: Fiction

Review:

Tremor: Nobody expects a bassist to be an ace cyber hacker and that’s just the way I like it. But now a mole has infiltrated the deepest layers of government and I’m charged with ferreting him out. Which would be enough on its’ own. Except I also have to take care of my recently abandoned seven-year-old niece, tour with my now becoming famous band, and woo the reluctant woman of my dreams who, is filming a documentary while I’m supposed to be flying under the radar. No problem.

Harlow: I work to become invisible. I hide behind the camera and capture everything. There’s a reason I’m so aloof I’m known as the Ice Queen. But I want Tremor for just one night. Just to prove something to myself. The problem is he seems like the kind of man who once he touches you, will never let go.

This is the fourth book of the “Chord Brothers” series and I must tell you, you are missing something worth if you aren’t reading this.

This book talks about Tremor and he has a very different personality when compared to Cole and Ryder.

Tremor and his band is famous now. Tremor has two responsibility now, his seven year old niece, Amanda and his love Harlow.

Everything was going good until one day he receives a call to safe his government as he was a cyber hacker too.

What happened then? Will Tremor be able to safe his government? Will he have good terms with Harlow? Was she hiding something from him?

This is a beautiful love story with complications. The way Tremor handles the responsibilities and love life is beautiful. The writing style of the author is impressive. The language is simple and easy to understand. It’s a heart wrenching read with lots of twists and turns. My favourite character is Tremor.

Title: Brothers In Arms

Author: Umesh

Genre: Non- fiction

Review:

The colour of your skin or where you come from should never affect how people look at you. The world changed after September 2001, when the twin towers were downed by two highjacked aircraft crashing into them and into the Pentagon.

People of all creed and colour condemned the attacks and the murder of innocents in the name of religion.

Brothers in arms do not care about the colour of your skin; for them, it is about the loyalty you have for one and another. When you are in heat of the battle, who cares if the person fighting next to you is from a different religion; he is your brother, he has your back and will die and fight with you.

What 9/11 did was paint a red target on every person of colour as a potential threat. All religions preach happiness, peace and love.

I have read the theory of 9/11 in school books but inclined towards this book, it turned to be a masterpiece. I have read a lot of genres but this one impressed me.

The story revolves around Aman who wanted to join the British Forces as his grandfather was an inspiration for him but his family was against him due to the violence being faced by them.

The author has dedicated this book to 21 brave soldiers headed by Havaldar Ishar Singh who was martyred in the Battle of Saragarhi.

The author has further discussed his life after 9th September 2001. How did it impacted Aman’s life ? Did he join the army ?

This book is worth reading. It’s about the sacrifices our real heroes go through. Brothers On Arms is a read that will break your heart into pieces.

This is a very heart wrenching read. It’s a story pf million soldiers who sacrifice their lives for their country. Love and Peace are the most essential components to live a happy and peaceful life.

Every aspect is accurate.

Author’s Message:

The underlying message is war is ugly,  honour and duty is important.  Most importantly love shines through. How families and life is affected by war…
