This is the second book of the series and trust me it will be an amazing read, might have better actions than the first one.and it continues to explore the magical realm of Metaerie. 

The plot revolves around a world where humans and their descendants now make up a significant portion of the population, alongside Dragons and Pixies. These beings wield ancient magic, but the Old World's traditions, which include deception and violence, continue to play a significant role in the characters' lives, making abrupt mortality a central theme.

The story unfolds as mages and warriors from different age groups come together to face a growing division within the realm. Witches, wyverns, dragons, and the undead are part of the mix, creating a diverse and perilous landscape. The question of whether the enemy of one's enemy is a friend or not adds depth to the character interactions and the overarching conflict.

It was a fantastic and an enjoyable read that will keep the readers on the edge of the chair. The book further delves into the intricate motivations of the characters. The story challenges readers to discern truth from deception and to understand the complex motives that guide individuals and groups in this magical world. The language is simple but I will recommend this book to the people above 16 years of age. The cover is simple with an apt title.

The story revolves around Erin who is eleven years old and she is afraid to go back to school because she would not be able to make friends again but destiny had a different plan, her classmate offers her to dance with her. The rehearsals boosts her confidence but will Alistair be able to make new friends or will she remain alone and lonely ? 

The story will make you feel nostalgic at some points and you will start seeing this series in a different way. The language is simple and easy to understand. It’s a good and a different read. The author has perfectly created a techno world with technology and science fiction elements on the edge. Matt’s evolution from an ordinary young man to a resourceful and determined hero is compelling. Both the other characters are well drawn and well crafted characters. 

This book is recommended to the readers who like reading about intelligence and science based technologies. Matt’s struggle for survival and his quest to protect those he loves provide a gripping and emotionally charged throughline that keeps the reader engaged. The language is not that simple for a kid to read this book, an adult should read this book. The title is apt with a nice cover.
