1.What was the most difficult point while writing this book?
There was none. Since the book is an expression of my authentic self, it flowed easily out of me. I was very sure of what I was writing.
2.Do you believe in love? If yes, what is love to you?
I believe in true love and for me, it means accepting and being your real self and accepting the beloved for who they are without feeling the need to shape them into a version of what you feel they should be. For me, love is being unconditionally present for the one you love. It's about loving yourself deeply so you do not go out seeking love from someone outside of you.
3.What’s your favorite genre when it comes to writing a book?
Spiritual & Romance
4.Is this book fiction or non-fiction read?
It's non-fiction read
5.What was the idea behind writing this book?
I wanted to heal myself and gain clarity about what was going on in my life at that point in time. The book is my catharsis. At the same time, I wanted my story to help and inspire others since I knew how to be captured in a wound and thru this book, I wanted to guide and lead others so they are not captured in a similar wound.
6.What is the main cause of the separation nowadays?
Lack of understanding, lack of kindness, compassion, being overly selfish & being conditional in love, operating from ego rather than soul. Understanding is more important than love and most people do not get this truth.
7.What makes you smile the most?
Acts of deep love & kindness, being with my kids, stunning sunrise, beautiful sunset, nature.
8.What’s the theme of the book cover from your viewpoint?
Balance of the masculine and feminine in us- the paradox that we carry as individuals and learning to accept that dichotomy and integrating it to be whole.
9.When will you be releasing your next book?
I still have to write it...am busy with other stuff as of now.
10.What interests you the most as an author?
It's the power to express oneself in an authentic manner and to heal oneself. It's a powerful tool to empty oneself of all negativity.
11.How did you manage to write alongside your job?
I work from home and my healing/counseling sessions for my clients are conducted online or in person at home. And one finds time and energy for what one is passionate about and writing is one of my passions so the balance between my healing work and writing is organic.
