Book Review !!

 Title: Deliverance

Author: Umesh

Genre: Non- fiction

Review:

This is a second book I read by the author and I really loved it. The story revolves around Raj and the story talks about life after death. Is there any life after death or is it just a myth ?

Life is full of obstacles and struggles, we all know that. Life can’t be perfect. Negative people should be kicked out, there should be no space for negativity. Does one’s deeds decide the life after death ?

This book is full of emotions of love, passion and strength and yes the reality is that one fails to accept the present and thinks a lot about it which shouldn’t be done.

Even if you want to cry aloud, cry but don’t let that affect you in any way. You are losing at a point if that’s affecting you.

Yes, I do believe in love, loving yourself is love because not everyone respects or deserves love and respect. Be humble, be grounded, then the sky is all yours.

This book has all that is required to learn and grow. It’s not an easy task to come out of heart breakdowns. It requires courage and determination to overcome.

Raj, you are a brave person. You are the best. All the courage and strength to you. Keep smiling !

Title: the blood in her honey: call me daddy & other poems

Author: Vironika

Genre: Poetry

Review:

Crazy bitch. Angry bitch. Whoa, daddy issues. One day she loves you, the next day she hates you. Old story, right? We've all heard it. Some of us happen to be the main character. Behind all the secondhand narratives, there's the truth: how it feels. How it feels and why. Why she changes. Why she leaves. Why she's so angry.

These poems begged to be written. They hope to translate the garbled ache so many of us feel. This journey may not be easy on the eyes or the palate. Bloody honey tastes different, but it's medicinal. You can't buy it in stores, but you can make it yourself. That is to say: this is for you. These words are yours to love, hate, ignore, or live by. After you drink this bittersweet sauce, you may be inspired to cook your own. Do not let the ache sit silently. It will make you tense, tongue-tied, and trauma bonded. Let it out. But first, read this little book. Eat this honey. Taste this blood.

This book left me emotional. I just don’t have words to describe the beauty of woven words. Powerful words.

It’s a collection of beautiful and meaningful poems that will leave you in dilemma to love or not to love. These were heartfelt poems that will touch your heart.

This book isn’t for children as the language is hard. The poetess did talk about daddy issues which was being real.

Every girl should read this amazing and satisfying book. The title is as beautiful as the content. The loved the cover.

Title: The Dread Queen And Other Stories

Author: Geoff

Genre: Short Stories

Review:

The image is bleak and haunting, less beautiful than the last. A large, ominous tree, grey and naked and clearly dead, stands in the middle of a dusty amber field. In the hazy distance, rust-red mountains rise to greet the sky.

This book is a collection of seven stories and all imaginary. The seven stories include:

 Local Histories

The Dread Queen

Locked

Circles

Haunted Hearts

Corinthians

Rose-Colored Bath

Haunted Hearts is my favourite one. You will enjoy reading this short book.

Travel through realms familiar yet unknown as you're pulled away by these strange tales, these images from near-forgotten dreams.

The Dread Queen and Other Dark Impressions is a vivid and fast-paced collection of horror, dark fantasy, and surreal tales sure to haunt audiences and spark imaginations.

The language is simple and easy to understand. This book could have been of more pages.

 Title: AGNIBAAN

Author: S. Venkatesh

Genre: Historical Fiction

Review:

This book is a beautiful thriller mystery read. The story revolves from the past to the present. This book is a roller coaster ride with end number of twists and turns.

The story starts from a fire arrow which has to be shifted from Egypt to India because of the Dark Order who wants to get hold of it.

535 CE

A young warrior sails from Egypt to a secret destination in India, carrying a mysterious package from the Great Pyramid. He guards a secret for which wars have been fought, for which men have staged the most ruthless massacres. But the forces of darkness are not far behind.

Present day

The favorite for the US Presidential election is assassinated. Nuclear submarines are destroyed. An Indian army convoy faces a deadly border attack. And a terrible fate awaits Delhi, as the city hurtles towards a long night of destruction.

Yet, this is just the beginning.

As the trail of the AgniBaan races from desolate lakes to dense jungles, from lost cities to hidden temples, from the US election campaign to bloodthirsty underground duels, it is clear that an ancient prophecy is coming true.

I loved the way story has been moulded. One of my favourite historical fiction. The language is simple and easy to understand. The cover is beautiful and attractive with a simplified title.

 Title: The Code Of Manavas

Author: Arpit

Genre: Fiction

Review:

This is the first book of Maha Vishnu Trilogy. A good blend you mythology and fiction. The story is written some two million years past.

The story revolves around Krishna, Kali-yuga has been transformed to Swarnim yuga and Bhoomi has been inherited by the new successor, the Manavas.

In the quiet and peaceful city of Madhavpur, a reclusive Krishna is busy with an immense task. He has to prepare a new abode for the Manavas before an impending apocalypse destroys them. He knows something that nobody else does—the Manavas are running out of time faster than they can imagine, and there are no inhabitable planets to escape to. To make matters worse, there is someone in Madhavpur who wants to destroy Krishna and subjugate each Manava. T

he Manavas, it seems, are doomed. Yet Krishna knows there is a slim chance of survival for the Manavas, although there is a huge price to be paid for it.

Will the various factions of the Manavas unite for the greater good? Will Krishna, who saved them during the turn of the last Yuga, be able to save them now? What will be the price to pay?

The imagination power of the author is strong. This book is a page turner, won’t let you leave until you finish.

The language is simple and easy to understand. The cover is beautiful and different. Recommended to everyone ! A light read.

Title: Poetry - Warm and wet aka Coffee and cigarettes aka Surface tension

Author: Abheek

Genre: Poetry

Review:

The author is unquestionably one of the most exciting young poets to emerge in our Times.

A semi-autobiographical epic within strict rhymes that delves into the philosophical ordeals of centered individualism; scientific resonances of the subconscious; and the metaphysical phenomena of existence;
- through the use of abstract realism, where concepts are layered within metaphors, personifications and objects. The work also includes poems that evoke a sense of shy relatability in areas of organizational and social behavior.

A see-saw of strict and relieving pieces, written in a style that allows the reader to collaborate and engage, bouncing around while wearing the colored cloaks of the poet, the reader, the observer and/or the object.

This is the best poetry book I have read this year. A different level of poems. All the poems have been beautifully penned with a deep meaning of each poem. Melodious personification. The title of each poem is has an impactful meaning.

The title is simple and classy with a hard cover. A good book for children to enhance the vocabulary.

My favourite poem is “Pub Poem Of Discipline.”

Review:

To fulfill a dying wish, a grieving Hispanic man uses his sister’s private journals as a guide in tracking down the love of her life, a woman named Sarah.

But who is Sarah?

To solve this mystery, and to honor his sister’s final wish, Tom uses Nina’s personal journals as a guide, in his search for Sarah.

Frustration mounts as he delves deeper into Nina’s past, uncovering secrets that will change his life forever.

Will Tom overcome the seemingly never-ending obstacles and find the enigmatic Sarah before putting his sister to rest?

This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. A beautiful love story. Story of love with different relations.

Tom Ruiz found a lot more secrets of his sister Nina after her death. This is a beautiful story of romance and mystery, I loved it. This is a overall lesbian romance read.

 Title: Rankshetram Part 1

Author: Utkarsh

Genre: Historical and Mythological Fiction

Review:

This’s the first book of the series Rankshetram.

The story begins with Vidarbha invaded by Balishthgarh to attain Divyamani and it marks the end of Rakshraj Markesh. This book is mainly about Dharma and Adharma. The story of rivalry of two generation of brothers. This is a story of Asura, Nagars and Vidarbha province.

The war has been described in an amazing way. You’ll imagine the events going in your head. This book is a bundle of curiosity, what happens now. There’re end number of characters in this book. Throughly enjoyed it.

The story went with a good pace. I’m more excited to read the second part. A combination of historical and mythological fiction. I would like to appreciate the research work of the author, just perfect.

 Title: Moving Parts

Author: Jason Hill

Genre: Memoir

Review:

Do you know Jason ?

If you don’t then you should. An inspiration for many. This is the best memoir I’ve ever read by an author, I literally had tears while I was reading it. This is a real life story of a man.

The author starts the story when he was 5 years old. A harrowing memoir of a black man that digs into the nitty gritty of overcoming family dysfunction, bullying, incarceration and homelessness that feels like it's a conversation with a good friend. Vulnerable, well written, funny, and inspiring! Through it all, Jason Hill is brutally honest about his own flaws and shortcomings, holding nothing back.

This isn’t a normal book but a bundle of emotions hidden within a person and that’s Jason. I literally cried during the scene of the school. That was hard emotional.

My favourite person of this book is Jason as he teaches end number of youngsters and everyone to be happy no matter what. I am really proud of him as what he was and what he went through and what he is. His relationship with his elder brother Marc wasn’t good, I didn’t like him.

It was inspiring and emotional on the other hand. I could feel the pain and tears the author must had while writing this book. The title and the cover are attached to me for the rest of the journey, I can’t forget this memoir. ❤️💕

Don’t miss this book. The best memoir !!

Review:

This is an amazing science fiction read with the robotics plotted. The story revolves around Zoe Evelyn Lionheart & her house-robot are swept away on an adventure to stop a war, after a powerful government vies for control of a technologically superior nation.

Further, with the refuse of the government to be controlled, robot production begun  to create a robot army alarming the world-renowned roboticist, Michael Alouicious Copperpot.

Review

Monica Harris is a successful hairstylist with her own thriving salon in San Antonio, Texas. While entangled in a passionless relationship with her womanizing fiancé Edmond, he proves to be more heartache than he is worth.

But when Monica decides to make her dreams a reality, she must put her heart on the line to take a chance on love.

This is a new trending love story because that’s what happening nowadays. Have you ever been friend zoned ? That’s the story.

This is a story of betrayal and cheating his partner. Will Monica will receive 2 million dollars if she marries Alexander ? Love or money ? This is a very interesting love story and I enjoyed reading.

 Title: First Second Coming

Author: Jeff

Genre: Suspense

Review:

It’s an outstanding debut book by the author Jeff and it was hard to believe that it’s his debut book.

This is the first book of the New God Series and it revolves around the God of Earth who claims himself to be The New Testament God, NTG who retires after more than two thousand years.

The New God appears later. Earth's new God introduces himself to humanity by unexpectedly appearing on the Ram Forrester Hour talk show. Ram, an atheist, and co-host Brendali Santamaria, a devout Catholic, are stunned. God interview, beamed worldwide, shocks and infuriates viewers. They learn that a sixty-day conference will take place in Los Angeles to determine whether humans are capable of helping him implement his planetary turnaround plan. All mankind must do to earn a coveted spot in this God's good graces is eliminate religious violence forever, without his heavenly help. Failure means extinction.

The story slightly moves towards the romance genre which is my favourite chapter of the book.

Will humans ever live peacefully without wars? What will New God do ?

This is a very unique storyline and Jeff has woven it beautifully. The title and the cover are beautiful. The language is simple and easy to understand. Mixed emotions of romance, action, fantasy and adventure.

 Title: The Influencer

Author: Abhaidev

Genre: Thriller

Review:

What if we have been wrong about this world this whole time? What if only a few gifted individuals decide the fate of it? What if impossible is quite possible?

To the outside world, Aditya is just another employee on the government’s payroll. But secretly, he is part of a shadow organization called WIS. With his special abilities, Aditya helps the most powerful man in his country, the PM, to have the better end of the deal.

Life for Aditya had been smooth until one careless mistake precipitates into his wife knowing his big secret. WIS can tolerate anything but not a defector. It takes WIS some time but eventually they find out Aditya’s big goof up. It, therefore, declares war on the renegade. Aditya’s death is what they want.

What will Aditya do? How will he fight this decree of the behemoth that once nurtured him?

The Influencer is a story of a man who has never taken no for an answer. It’s a thrilling account of a single man who is facing the wrath of a powerful but dubious organization with highly-skilled, super assassins at its disposal.

Will Aditya succeed in dodging WIS? Or will the evil organization get what it wants? How far will this fugitive go to protect everything he cherishes?

You must have presumed after reading the title about the influencing creators over the media but it’s just the second phase of the coin. The title made me read this book and it’s just the opposite what I thought.

The story revolves around a couple Aditya and Shreya. One fine morning, Shreya finds herself pregnant and on the same day, she gets to know a secret business being done by her husband of which she has no clue.

This is a story which can influence and change one’s mindset. Aditya works as an influencer and is a part of a secret organization called WIS. He works for the police, government and companies. What happens next?

It’s a very fast paced action thriller book. You will enjoy reading it, undoubtedly. The title and the cover compliment each other. The language is simple and easy to understand.
