 Title: Bombay Blood-1

Author: Loyal

Genre: Thriller

Review:

An age-old 14th Century plague resurfaces to haunt the present-day city of Bombay. With increasing loss of lives at the tick of each passing minute, the authorities are under enormous pressure to unearth the root cause. While in the process of tracing the roots to this, they discover intersected historical pasts linked to an anonymous Dr. Sri, who’s discovery in the early 90’s, was on similar lines of work. His mysterious vanishing from the scene like thin air leads to a manhunt put in place to find him, to utilize his research knowledge to prevent the mayhem the city is undergoing.

In the quest to find him, will they be able to save the city with new arising corpses? They are running out of time in finding the truth. But the truth is, there is one man to find now, and only he knows the cure!!

This is the best historical thriller fiction I have read till now. I couldn’t put this book down until I finished reading it. This book will teach you a lot of new things and it’s very suspicious read. You will be lost in the characters. This place has a lot to describe, Bombay. Author has done a brilliant work writing this book.

The cover is marvellous, everything has been inscribed through it. The title is brilliant. Overall, an amazing work.

Waiting for its sequel.

 Title: Connection Lost

Author: Prudenza

Genre: Poetry

Review:

Where are you right now? What surrounds you? How does it feel? We got used to looking at ourselves and other human and non-human things as functional objects which exist only as long as they fulfill a purpose. But what is it that lets us be? What is it that keeps us alive? A pun on technology and the true essence of being, Connection Lost is a sensory journey from a back yard in London to the Amazon jungle - a bunch of thoughts and written images that will keep you company in the city, in the woods, by the seashore, on the train. Written in English with Italian parallel text, 15 poems and a short essay will take you on a journey into awareness, oneness, through the city, the nature, around self, art and poetry, Covid-19 and isolation.

With influences ranging from Heidegger to Timothy Morton, from Ezra Pound to Matsuo Bashō, with Douglas Wood in between, the author tries to carry out what appears to be the essential task of poetry: to let the world that's already there emerge and become visible to the reader through language.

This is a non- fiction read which was very important to write. Poet has penned down the most neglected issues  of our society. This book is a collection of 15 poems. A beautiful message has been directed by the poet to the readers not to exploit the nature for their own benefits. The best part I liked about this book is the essay, beautifully written. Nature is the best thing almighty has blessed us with. We all should respect and adore our nature.

The language of this book is simple and easy to understand. The title is mesmerising with a sober and beautiful cover which conveyed a beautiful message. I would recommend this book to all the readers who like reading nature and it’s resources.

 Title: Crystal Woods

Author: Emma

Genre: Fiction

Age: 9 years+

Review:

This is a super duper amazing book for the children above nine years of age. The imagination of crystal woods is beautiful and I went there with the story. My favourite character is Zoe.

The story revolves around Zoe who returns to Crystal Woods in Cornwall whereas Madison-Rose and her family return for another vacation. I liked the relationship of Madison-Rose and her sister.

Rose thinks that this is going to be another normal family holiday with her family, Jade and Steven as they have come along but what she doesn’t know is there is trouble coming to Crystal Woods as a few new faces are coming to cause trouble.

They want to take over the beloved Crystal Woods. Madison-Rose and her sister, their relationship is so much stronger now and Madison-Rose lets her big sister know. But Zoe has a choice to make when Chocolate wants to go back home.

Will she stay with her friends in Crystal Woods or go back to Japan with her half-brother?

Author: Abhijeet

Genre: Non- fiction

Review:

Neuroscience: any or all of the sciences, such as neurochemistry and experimental psychology, which deal with the structure or function of the nervous system and brain.

This book is a masterpiece of brain. The author has beautifully explained each and every part of brain in detail. Photographs and diagrams made the understanding more interesting and logical. The language is simple and easy to understand but not recommended to the beginners as this book is based on the scientific concepts. This book is highly recommended to the science students and the students who are appearing or who are planning to appear for the MBBS degree. It is very interesting to understand and to learn new concepts about our brain which most of us are unaware of.. I been from arts background was very curious to learn about brain and I literally learned a lot a lot.

 Title: Sky Turtle Tours

Author: Mary Ramsey

Genre: Fiction

Review:

Once upon a time, a young widow living on a military base in Hawaii met a long-haired hippy, who was actually an enchanted turtle.

Expanding the Ocean Prince Novella: For Elena Rios, it's been five long years living in the Arizona heat. Uprooted from her island home, her life has changed from Disney princess to horror queen as her family is haunted by spirits of the past.Excerpt: "What words convince a child to trust a sewer-dwelling clown?" The question asked, on a thirty second timer. "We all float down here," I said out loud to no one, "As far as I know, anyway." I'd never been partial to horror movies. Especially since I've been living one for the past five years. Glancing at the window I catch a glimpse of my reflection.

"My name is Elena Rios, and my (current) husband is a demi-god, former cult leading messiah, and a self-taught pilot. Creepy, I know. You want to know what's also creepy as all fuck? My lover's company motto, "Sky Turtle Tours: We all fly up here." Seriously. And yes, I asked if he saw the movie about the clown.

He claims he did not, but rather, that the slogan invites all walks of life to experience the beauty of the skies. This included our preschool-age son who adored his daddy more than anything (and anyone) hence why I was often left alone in the shop, bored out of my mind.

You know what, she is my favourite author. Such a wonderful writer she is. Imagination, beyond words. I don’t believe in supernatural powers, but reading this book was a pleasure.

The art work of every chapter is appreciable. The language is lucid. I went with the story and watched it in the form of reading.

The cover page is beautiful, as usual with a lovely and a fascinating title. Recommended to everyone. Go and grab your copies now.

This is a short story of author’s journey in learning to see herself worthy. Her transformation from what she was as a child, the situations she went through to what she is today.

This book is a very short and a meaningful read from how life changes with the changing time. I wish the ending could have been the best. Every illustration impart a different meaning in the mind. Her final hope of salvation lies in people from a different era, Tom Muldoon and The Rainbow Twins, who in a spine chilling and heart-wrenching story, battle against time and the odds to embrace love, save humanity and defend each other.

This is a different and a unique read. Enjoyed reading it. This book contains a lot like romance, fantasy, thrill, travel and a lot more. It’s more about saving humanity and being a human. It’s an imaginative fantastic novel.

I would recommend to the people who love reading fantasy or have the habit of living in their own world. The plot is intriguing and enjoyable. The characterisation is well narrative.
