This is an absolutely fantastic fantasy novel that dealt with swords and pixies. You’ll enter in the world of Metaerie. The story begins by introducing readers to this magical realm, which is not the typical fairy tale world that I did expect. It is a place brimming with a diverse array of races, creatures, and monsters, each with their own unique histories, features and characteristics.
It’s a nice blend of mythology combined with history, which made the book more interesting to read. One of the strengths of this book is its exploration of the origins of magic in Metaerie, from the divine to the hellish. The presence of heroic figures, ancient magic, and the interplay of swords and sorcery add layers of depth to the narrative and a deep understanding of how this world came into existence.
I liked all the characters, the way they are crafted and the way they are built up. The way world’s history has been portrayed is significantly interesting, I was curious till the end to know what will happen next. Don’t miss this interesting read.
