Title: Me Ki Gai
Author: Atul
Genre: Fiction
Review:
Ikigai or the flow is discussed as a zone of effortless energy and productivity for an individual. It combines purpose, passion, vocation and profession. While ikigai may be presented as a philosophical concept, its discovery is unique to every person. This discovery makes life worthwhile and rewarding to live. Me Ki Gai (Simply Me (i)ki Gai) is a young man’s journey to discover his own ikigai zone when guided by a mystic character saving him from a life ending situation. Parth, a young adult discovers his ikigai through his own experience along the journey with Krisha. Prabhudas, the mystic guides Parth with a systematic process that may help millions of people discover their own.
The principles of ikigai may help us build a new world with more rewarding personal and professional life.
Ikigai is the Japenese concept which means purpose of being and it’s a truly amazing self- help book in connection to fiction.
Parth’s story has been beautifully narrated by the author. A lot has been explained by the author with reference to real life. The author aims at finding your true self instead of the world around.
Everyone is not as lucky as Parth. Failures and rejections are the part of life. Apart from this book, accept everything and face every situation cheerfully.
The language used by the author is simple and descent. Narration and characterisation is perfect. The cover is beautiful with a lovely title.
Recommended to everyone, read at least for once. A must book in the bookshelf.
