The number 18 is typically symbolic of slavery and bondage in the Holy Scriptures. In the book of Judges, the Israelites were oppressed by Eglon the king of Moab for 18 years. In the Gospel according to Luke, Jesus healed a woman while teaching on a Sabbath who was crippled by a spirit for 18 years! Throughout our lives, we’ve been bound by or to something: a habit that we’ve been trying to break, a bad relationship that we’re trying to get out of, a dead-end job, or a TV show that we can’t seem to stop watching. On the other hand, we’ve seen where 18 has represented a time of preparation: Jesus engaging in dialogue with the teachers of the temple courts in Jerusalem at the age of 12 to the beginning of His ministry, which He began at around age 30 in the beginning of the Gospel according to Luke. We all have been called to a ministry --- to meet a need, that is. No matter how long you’ve been in Christ, whether it’s been 18 years, 18 months, 18 weeks, 18 days, or you’ve just read about Him for the first time in the last 18 seconds, this book is just for YOU! 974 posts over 547 days.
This book is totally on Jesus Christ. You will come across a lot of new beliefs. I don’t believe in Jesus Christ but it was nice reading this book and knowing more about him. The author has discussed his journey from 17th December and continued till the 18th month. The author has also added the scriptural references which made the readers to understand.
The title is unique and beautiful. The cover is amazing. The language is simple and easy to understand. Recommended to the ones who believe in Jesus Christ and to the ones who like reading non- fiction books.
